My Top Ten Images 2019
Here’s my ten favorite shots of 2019, most are from a trip around the south island of New Zealand, along with a few from Victoria, Australia. There’s still time left for a few more shoots so there’s a slight chance it could change before the end of the year.
Milford Sound NZ. Probably my favorite image I’ve ever taken, and one of the best locations I’ve ever seen. It rained for the first 5 days I was there but I hit the jackpot on the last day.
New Brighton Pier, Christchurch NZ. Cold feet.
Moeraki Boulders NZ. I was so close to abandoning this shoot due to rain, glad I stayed around. The rain stopped and 5 minutes later there was a colour explosion, had the beach to myself which is very rare here.
Mt Ida Creek, Lake Eppalock VIC.
The Twelve Apostles, Port Campbell VIC. Shooting here is like sticking your head out the car window at 100km/h. Conditions here were unusually calm.
Mt Ida Creek, Lake Eppalock VIC. The lake has mostly dried up due to drought, 5 years ago this location would have been 5 meters under water.
Milford Sound NZ.
Mt Ida Creek, Lake Eppalock VIC.
Moeraki Boulders NZ.
Shotover Canyon, Queenstown NZ. Shot this one in between jet boats blasting through the canyon.
